These 5 days safari, takes you to Murchison falls National Park where you will explore the park to see lots of attractions and also do various activities in the park. during the 5 days, you do the following activities the game drive to see four of the big five game among other animals, boat cruise on the river Nile having the highest concentration of hippos, buffalos’ crocodiles and some water birds seen on the shores, Delta boat cruise, chimpanzee trekking, Rhino tracking at the Ziwa Rhino sanctuary. The Rhino sanctuary is situated in Nakasongola enroute to Murchison falls National Park. Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Kampala– Murchison Falls National Park

After an early morning breakfast, our guide will pick you from your hotel in Kampala by 7:30am then transfer to North-west through the famous Luwero Triangle and Masindi Town to Murchison Falls National Park. En-route lunch at Kabalega dinners.
Proceed and enter the park with a visit to the top of the falls where you can see the Nile’s beauty perfected! Marvel at the Nile, compressing from 50 meters to squeeze through a 6-meter canyon dropping 40 meters with a thunderous roar.
Later you will have an evening game drive as you proceed to your lodge

Dinner and overnight at Pakuba Safari Lodge. (Mid-range), Paraa Safari lodge(luxury)

Day 2: Game drive and Nile boat ride.

Morning game drive via the Nyamsika plateau, to catch up with the morning risers returning from the previous hunt before they retire I their hide outs. You may spot nocturnal animals which are heard to be spotted during the day light. enjoy the view and you may see some of the big five like (elephants, lions, buffaloes and giraffes), warthogs, bush backs, water bucks, heart-beasts and many more. The game drive lats for about 4 hours thereafter you will return to the lodge for late breakfast and later lunch then after prepare for a boat trip on placid Victoria Nile, upstream, to the base of the falls. The boat trip commences at 2:00pm in Paraa area.
En route you will see hippos, crocodiles, water bucks and a wide variety of birds like the pelican bee-eater, egret, Kingfishers, eagles, weaver birds and heron etc. The boat stops just tens of meters from the “Devil’s Cauldron”. Take pictures of the photogenic and majestic Murchison Falls. Return to Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Morning Delta Boat cruise, Afternoon game drive in Paraa area

After breakfast, you will be picked up by your boat to go to the delta area of Murchison Falls National Park. The Nile Delta boat cruise offers a chance to see lots of wildlife species that include buffaloes, elephants, crocodiles, hippos and the rare shoebill stock. You will also observe the Nile reducing speed as it deposits waste before entering lake Albert. Return back to the lodge for lunch and then prepare for your evening game drive to look for animals you could have missed on the first game drive. After the game drive, transfer to Pakuba Safari Lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Chimpanzee tracking and transfer to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary

After an early morning breakfast transfer to Budongo head offices where you will be briefed on how the tracking is done. You will then be led by an experienced ranger guide who will take you through the tracking. You are advised to carry bottled water and snacks just in case the tracking takes longer time, when you find them, you will be given a maximum of 1hr with them to observe, watch them play, grooming, feeding etc. This chimp tracking also gives the bird watchers the opportunity to sight different bird species in the forest. return to the lodge where you will have your lunch too.
After lunch, transfer from Budongo to Ziwa home of the Rhinos in Uganda. You will check in at Amuka Lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: Rhino tracking and departure

After an early morning breakfast you will go for your Rhino tracking walk in the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary home of Uganda’s remaining Rhino Population. The Ziwa Rhino sanctuary was created to conserve and the Rhinos, with intention of re-introducing them to all other parks in Uganda where they once lived before. After your Rhino tracking experience, you will return to your lodge and relax, have your lunch then embark on your journey back to Kampala.
